Reply to Mr Ajay Chikara

Hello Mr Ajay Chikara, thanks for your visit on the blog and kind words about it...Sorry for the delayed reply...Congratulations on your success in CSE....Regarding your query, I will reply one by one:
[1] The temporary service allocation means your service can be updated to your higher preferences in the month of December. It doesn't have any relation with your wrong category status in your UPSC mains form. So be relaxed about it.
[2] You can check your service allocation on DoPT website..If OBC is mentioned against your name and service allocation, then you got the benefit otherwise not.
[3] You can't change your category status in between the process of exam or service allocation.
[4] You can view the questions put by blog readers in the left side column of the blog where recent comments are coming.
further query is welcome..keep blogging..

Sir, many of the selected people have not got any communication either from DoPT or from FC insti...hence those seeking exemption have updated the required info regarding Roll No. of CSE 2010 in the persmin's candidate,s login. is there a neccesity to write a simple letter to both DoPT and FC Insti or will the Candidate login info suffice. How can a candidate confirm if he or she has been granted exemption from FC. the persmin website regarding candidate info hasn't given out even the names of those who have sought exemption. in this situation should a person directly contact any other official incharge to clarify the status regarding exemrion. In that case, Who is the In-Charge involved and where can we get the contact details of the In-charge concerned.

Hi sir

Thanks for all your informative post. I have a query. As seen on the persmin site, the total number of candidates allocated IAS this year is 120 only, where as the number of vacancy is 131. I was wondering if this number will increase, as in will there be 131 IAS allocations finally for this year.

Also is there any way to know from the persmin site all those reserved category people who hace been declared as General merit candidates. I mean is their category status on the site reflected as their true category of the general one .

Thanks and regards
