Regarding ICLS.....Reply to Miss/Mr Anonymous
Hello Miss/Mr Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog...Regarding your query, ICLS[Indian corporate Law service] is a good service owing to the growth of corporate sector in India...You will have higher demand in the private sector after your retirement....However, you can't compare between ICLS and Indian railways service as work profiles and client base are entirely different for both the services........further query is welcome..keep blogging..

Respected sir , i'm a candidate who got IRS(C & CE) in cse 2009 ,(results yestrday) . I came to know about ur blog last week only , as i am not a techno savvy guy , but i must congratulate u on d splended efforts u r undrtaking in making this piece informative , interesting , tremendously useful , even thought provoking , obviously impartial , and almost indispensable , especially for a bunch of jokers like me , who know nothing but a bit of academics . my query is long and vague , but very crucial to me , so if u could spare some time to ans it , i shall b ever so grateful 1)this was my second attempt , wen i got selected ( as a gen. candidate) i gave my prel. in 2009 as a gen. cand., but in mains i applied as an OBC cand. ( bcoz i had an OBC certificate) .Then i recieved a communication frm UPSC that u cannot change ur category in the middle of the process , hence u will b considered as gen. cand. 4 mains as well as intervw . now my query is that my service allotment is marked provisional on DOPT website , does it mean that there is some prob. due to the category shuffling etc.? if not wat is the prob ? i thought d matter must've ended wid d upsc letter i'd recieved ! 2) how can i know dat the OBC certificate dat i have (it is a perfectly valid one , issued by SDM in delhi) entitles me to reservation benefit or not ? i mean d only reason d problm in d first query came , was dat i dont know whether my community ,in delhi, belongs to d central list of OBCs or not ? or is it d case that if u hav a valid OBC certificate , u can avail of d resv. benefit , no matter ur caste belongs to d central list or d state list ? or there is no such thing as a central/state list ? 3) is it possible to avail of the benefits NOW? 4)is it possible to see d questions put forward to u by various readers , and if yes , how ?
