CIVIL SERVICES EXAM-2008 RESULT
From unconfirmed sources [insider] in UPSC, CSE-2008 Mains result is going to be announced on 6Thu March 2009. The interview will commence from 23rd March to 24Th April 2009. This may be due to upcoming Lok Sabha election. All the best for the aspirants. I will keep you update about the interview schedule. Keep blogging.

To Mr Shailesh: It is really nice time to get in to the civil services as number of seats are enough to compete. This trend will continue for some more years. Thus put your hard effort to get in to.
To Mr Sameer: I can understand your anxiety and zeal to get in to this service. Friend,it is difficult for me to give you the details about my friends in Rajinder Nagar on this blog. You can write me on mailto:neutralviews@gmail.com. I can give you some details about them. But still the information which you want can be provided by any of the coaching institute located in Mukherjee Nagar or Rajinder Nagar. You can meet any one of them. Or if you have any specific doubts I can also provide you some details. Regarding Hindu News paper...you can easily leave out page-2,3,4...editorial page you should go through,next page you can read occasionally,you must go through all other pages except last page. Regarding websites,there is not much requirement. you can visit some government websites for updates..that is all I think. Any further query is welcome.Good Luck for 2010 exam.
To Mr Srinivas : Regarding History as a PT optional,I don't have much idea really as mine was Pub ad.....still you can make your attempt successful with 75 correct questions in Optional and 65 in GS...regarding cut off..it varies each year..in negative marking system it is now easy to get in to with low score and cut off also generally low...Regarding salary during probation period...after 6Th Pay commission,21000/- we got during foundation[ rest of the salary we got as an arrears in our respective academies] and now we are getting 25700/- after pension and other necessary deductions. So I think package is sufficient now. Good luck for CSE-2009.
