IAS Vs IRS[C&CE]...Reply to Miss/Mr Anonymous
Hello Miss/Mr Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog...Regarding IAS Vs IRS[C&CE]...there is no comparison between IAS and IRS[C&CE] as the area of work is entirely different...Beacon light is a position specific..There are several posts where even IAS is not entitled for beacon..same is the case for IRS[C&CE]...as an Asstt Commissioner, you are not officially entitled for beacon light but We generally use it...If you are in anti-evasion wing, you can officially have beacon light...So, light is not a big factor in deciding the things..once you sit inside the vehicle, you can't see the beacon light and in fact after some time it doesn't matter whether you have light or not on your vehicle..your work speaks louder than beacon lights...I know several officers who don't prefer beacon light vehicle even they are entitled for it....your choice should be based on your area of interest and your intention...I have written several blogs on this matter...You can earn good name only when you love and enjoy your work be in IAS or IRS[C&CE]..of course working conditions are much better in IRS[C&CE] as compared to IAS and of course it is specialised service..you have peaceful Saturday and Sundays which is not possible in IAS..thus choice is yours...further query is welcome...keep blogging...

could u pl clarify if,in irts, the lifestyle is really good,with good accomodations,vehicles n orderlies,nothing to worry about the households.....as compared to irs(it as well as c&ce).
is it true that,irs dont have the facilities of workers,vehicles,accomodations?even if there is a provision of vehicle in c&ce,its either a shaky gypsy or a pooled cab like vehicle,only for to n fro-ing frm the office to home?
Sir,Any idea why there is Delay in Service allocation this year?.They could atleast confirm the Venue of FC.(On a lighter note.Looks like Dopt Wants to test people how they respond in Urgent Situation.Tell the Service allocation and place of training 10days before the Training and see how the Candidates struggle to get tickets and reach FC on time)
