Vacancies in IRS....Reply to Miss/Mr Anonymous
HEllo Miss/Mr Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog....The expected vacancies in IRS[C&CE] for CSE-2009 are 178 and in IT ,165....for CSE-2010, The seats in IRS[C&CE] are expected to be 245 and in IT, 178 approximately...further query is welcome..keep blogging...

i just found that upsc has declared the marks of cse-10. See the upsc site. whats new section/ marksheet

Dear All,I am a Central group Officer (Dy Director 6600 GP)I have cleared CSE-2010 and got a rank of 531. I have been told that I will get IRS(C&CE). I have few questions which I want to put to this forum so that I may get a better idea
1. Is pay protection available (relevant rules)
2.What is the pay during training.
3.What is the promotional prospects of this service
4. Are quarters available everywhere?
5.Can I get extension for joining in case I am not relieved from my present service on time?
6. Can I get leave for preparation and sitting for CSE examination again?
7.being a Group A officer already what are the distinguishing perks of this service, if any?
8. Will my service count for parity with IAS(latest dopt order)?
Sir thanks for ur reply on Vacancies is IRS total in 2010 which u told 150 and 190 ( IT +C&CE ) ... But recent info tells that in case of IRS C&CE its 134 only in 2010 batch not 190.. can u shed some light on this please.... Thanks in advance ... Waiting for ur reply
