CSE-2010 notification has come...Good Luck to the aspirants
Hello dear CSE aspirants….finally UPSC has come out with the notification for CSE-2010….It has appeared in the employment news of 2nd January….As such there are no changes in the pattern and overall scheme of the examination as predicted earlier… The number of seats are also huge….This must give enough motivation to the aspirants…Indeed, it is a new year gift to CSE aspirants…I wish all of them a very good luck…..do hard work…..keep blogging…

This is Siddhartha again. I have a query regard IAS vs IRS for salary perks and other benefits as:
1) What are the perks and benefits for IAS and IRS officer and what are the major differenes?
2) What are the promotion path for both IAS Vs IRS. Its a feeling that IAS are promoted quite early as compared to IRS to reach higher level of post. What are the number of years to be spent in each service to get promoted to higher post.
3) Is there any(or may be more than one) reason that a person may prefer (or feel better off in) IRS as compared to IAS (leaving the personal preference); for e.g. one I can think of is less political interference.
4) What is social status of a IRS vis-a-vis IAS officer as well as comparison of its power and jurisdiction.
Sorry to bother you again. But I think you are the best person known to me whom I can revert back with my query.

HI CAN U TELL ME WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IAS,DANICS AND PCS,IPS,DANIPSAND PPS.
WHY R THEIR INCLUDED IN GROUP B SERVICES,IS THE PAY SCALE AND DESIGNATIONS OF CANDIDATES R DIFFERENT IN THESE.
