Hello Miss/ Mr Anonymous, It is true that UPSC has proposed some drastic changes in the pattern in CSE examination....It is quite possible that these changes may apply from CSE-2010....so be prepared for it...as they did in the case of negative marking, they can implement it too.....The Dopt and UPSC now has same line of thought regarding the reforms in CSE thus it is quite possible that the reforms may be implemented very fast....According to confirm sources, one high level meeting was held at LBSNAA, Mussorie last month where all the DGs of training academies were participated...The consensus was formed regarding the changes in the service conditions in Civil services. The proposed changes are as follows:
[1] Foundation course [FC] is going to be mandatory
[2] Once the candidate join any service, He/She will not be allowed to sit for next CSE i.e you can not appear for rank improvement after the selection.
Thus, the reforms in CSE are quite imminent and drastic...I appeal to all CSE aspirants to gear them self to face these changes...though some of the changes are quite beneficial to the serious, meritorious and hard working candidates....further query is welcome...keep blogging...

Dear Sir,
I have opted for Management as an optional. But unfortunately, the mains paper of 2008 is not available. I have tried all the book shops in Delhi - Jawahar and in Rajendar Nagar. It would be a great help if you could tell me where I can get it or if you could direct me to anyone who took the exam with mgmt this yr or last yr. Thanks a lot. Waiting in anticipation...
