Hello Mr/Miss Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog and very kind words about it....first of all I congratulate you for having intense desire to get success in CSE-2010 despite the all prevailing problems....Don't loose after the debacle in PT....I suggest you to not to take any tension regarding your medical fitness....you can very well change your status in next UPSC form regarding your disability...Absolutely there is no problem about it...regarding the medical test...you need to walk on heel and jump on toe only for few seconds...you need not worry about it....Doctors are very helping in nature...you will get all the cooperation in medical board...You should exercise not for the sake of clearing UPSC medical test but for your own sake....Regarding the medical criteria, you can refer to the guidelines given in the advertisement for CSE in employment news or on UPSC website....still if something special is there then I will publish some more information on the blog....good luck....further query is welcome....keep blogging.....

hello sir,

thanks for those encouraging words. yes sir i should exercise not for the sake of clearing upsc medical test but for my own sake....

but every year I read news about some successful candidates not being allotted posts boz of medical fitness problems. thats why i was concerned.

and sir can you tell me about my second query…

2. in the upsc advertisement, they say that only a person with percentage of physical disability greater than 40% can use the benefits of disabled category [like reservation, concessions in medical test, etc.]

now if i have disability greater than 0% [i.e. some physical disability] but less than 40%, then will upsc provide any concessions for me in atleast the medical test?

do u know how such candidates are considered in the medical test? have u come across any such persons in the selected candidates. bcoz since i think my disability will be little, im concerned abt this. and im reading many news articles abt such candidates being considered as neither as general nor as handicapped category candidates.

sorry for asking u too many questions. but i dont have any other sources of information sir.

and once again thanks for those encouraging words.
