Regarding the FC exemption...Reply to Miss/Mr Anonymous
Hello Miss/Mr Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog and congrats for your success in CSE...Regarding your query, I have already written in my previous blogs that you should not worry about it, if you have applied it on DoPT for exemption then just relaxed...your name may not reflect on exemption list on MCRHRD list....prepare well for mains...good luck....further query is welcome...keep blogging.....

My order of preference for CSE 2009 was
IAS,
IFS,
IPS,
IRS(IT),
IRS(C&CE)......and so on upto 23rd service in the list.
I have been allocated IRS(IT) {Provisional Allotment}.
now when i apply for CS Main 2010,
1. what is the proper way to write the preference? should i write only my first three choices IAS,IFS,IPS and write NIL in front of all other services as i have already got my 4th choice...or do i need to again write down choice for all the posts. from IAS,IFS...to the 23rd choice. Is there any risk in writing only my top three choices in my application? will there be any problems later?
2. what should i write for the following two queries :
26(a): Have you ever accepted allocation to a Service/post
on the basis of a Civil Services Examination held in
earlier years? Yes/No
26(b)(iv): Whether you are continuing in that Service/Post Yes/No
3. Where should i write the information in my Mains Application form that i have sought Exemption from FC even though i accept the service allocated to me.

i was confused and worried regarding FC and its clash with Mains preparations. so, there were some virtual contradictions in the theme of my two mails sent to you sir.
i have seen my name in the link showing list of the candidates seeking exemption at persmin website. i hope that will suffice as a remedy to all my worries.Sir, in case i have to write to DoPT, to what address do i need to send the letter regarding FC Exemption ?
Thank you for clearing my confusion. now there is no need for me to fill and send Descriptive roll, property return, other forms regarding property etc.

Regarding your blog: it is indeed a very effective way to help the candidates. i feel that there is difficulty in retrieving the particular question corresponding to your answers on the blog. that leads to slight confusion in assuming what all things the visitor to your blog had questioned so as to interpret your answers accurately. other than that there is no confusion. your are doing a great service sir.

Dear Sir,
I am one those selected from 2006 second merit list...our service allocation is due...regarding this can u pls answer my query as will there be sliding of seats to next ranked candidates as 4 candidates ranked above me subsequently got selected in either AIS or IRS and i am sure these 4 wil not turn up for second medical which is pending in our case...or the seats will lapse...pls rely on this.

i got through Prelim. can u tel me detials abt Mains answer sheet...what to write on the front page...some of my friends told that many candidates do wrong in filling the front sheet....how to write the question Nos. and Page Nos. ...if we write Ans to 7th question in additional sheet then shuld we count the additional sheet after the mains sheet or are there numbering different....in that case how to differentiate between say page 5 of mainsheet with ans. No. 3 and page 5 of additional sheet with say Ans No. 8.....also tell me how to arrange all the sheets and putting them in order....some say all sheets andd graphs are arranged and put within the last page of the mains form....some say that only the graph sheets are put within the last page of the mainsheet while additional sheets are put after the mainsheet...some say all the other sheets have to be out after the main sheet, not within the last page of the answer sheet....the last page of the answer sheet refers to the one with the instructions.do reply.
