Hello Mr P.Shankar, thanks for your visit on the blog and kinds about it….regarding your query, I don’t have much information regarding the training schedule of Assistant commandant…you can refer the notification issued by UPSC…you can also visit the websites of the respective force for the detailed programme….regarding the ranking, generally Candidates prefer CISF due to more stable job profile….further query is welcome….keep blogging….

Can you suggest some unconventional source of information for G.S which can be handy in the preparation for CSE 2010(Pre)?Wikipedia is one which is relevent.

In CSE 2009(Pre),there were some questions which were not easy to answer as they were not from any book, like "mahamastakbhisheka ceremony",NAM Secretary General,Monastery question,Quetion on location of temple,Gatka Art,Singhey Khababs Sindhu Darshan Festival etc.Can you please suggest some authentic source from where these types of questions can be prepared?

There were some article in the newspaper regarding declining trend of service preference for IAF as compared to IAS and IPS.
There was also an article which is available on internet written by a former diplomat regarding the same.He has written that out of 17 IFS probationers 8 candidates wrote their answer in CSE 2008 mains in Hindi and the FSI had to arrange for special English classes for them during their training.I was just wondering why CSE aspirants are not opting for IFS over IAS and IPS?Is there some catch in the quality of job or some other reasons?I have also heard that they are send to LSE for their training. There was also some information that from 2010 onwards the seats for IFS will be increased.

Can you plese throw some more light on this issue?
