Hello Mr Prasanth Balantrapu, thank you for your visit on the blog and nice words about it...regarding your query, it is really a nice habit to make your self notes. It will help you during your preparation. You can make synoptical notes during the coaching. You should not make very lengthy notes because it will not be useful in the final revision. Your notes must be precise and short. If you don't attend the coaching then it may happen that you make irrelevant notes because you may not be in a position to identify the relevant & irrelevant sections of the syllabus. You must realise one thing that UPSC exam is quite different then regular conventional exams. It requires a different strategy which you can learn easily in the coaching classes. I am not discouraging you for your self preparation but you can take advantage of the specialisation of the coaching institutes to save your effort. Thus you can attend the coaching as well as you can prepare your notes simultaneously....you can skip General study coaching if confident enough..in this case you can attend coaching in November for 1st optional........further query is welcome....keep blogging...
