Hi, I am an IAS aspirant. Your posts have been very informative and helpful for people like me. I have some doubts regarding the selection & training for IAS. If you could clarify them, that would be great.
a) I read in some sites (unofficial) that the minimum height required for male candidates is 165cm for IPS. Is this correct? Is there a similar criteria for IAS or IFS?
b) Will there be a medical test at any stage of the selection process? ex: Before/After selection in mains or before Interview? If there is a medical test, what all checkups will be done? Will there be a Blood Pressure checkup also?
c) Will the cadre allotment be done before the starting of the training at LBSNAA? Or will it be done during or at the end of the training?
d) How long will be the training at LBSNAA?

Thanks in advance.

Enjoy the India day celebrations.
