Hello Mr Murty, thanks for your visit on the blog...Regarding your query about aptitude test, I have already written several times on it...Since nobody knows about the exact nature of it so least say is better...you must wait for notification...as you have enough years, you must focus on your mains part as there are no changes proposed so far in mains exam...prelims you can prepare within 3 months...right now you must decide two optionals and start preparing for the mains exam....further query is welcome..keep blogging..

Regarding the Marksheets of CSE-09...Reply to all
Hello dear blogger, sorry for the late reply...There is intense pressure of workload in the office...UPSC has taken immense precaution to keep the mark sheets of CSE-09 selected candidates out of reach to the aspirants....WE are trying our best but seems very difficult to get the list...still, if we get the list, we shall publish it as early as possible.....till then focus on your preparation...good luck...keep blogging...

Hello Miss/Mr Mission, thanks for your visit on the blog....Regarding the strategy for CSE-2011 Pre...as I have already written on this topic earlier, since nobody known about the exact pattern of GS in CSE-2011 Pre, you should wait for the notification for this exam by UPSC....Till that time, you must prepare the GS on conventional lines...In any case, some features of the present GS paper will remain in the new pattern too....Thus ,it is advisable to not to go from pillar to post and concentrate on the conventional part of GS....But, at this time you must focus on mains preparation as there is no change in mains pattern....After the notification in Dec-2010, you can start for prelims....You can join coaching for GS if you think that you can't prepare on your own....Some good institutes are :
[1] Vaji Ram & Ravi
[2] ALS
[3] Dhyeay IAS
However, you must go and see yourself about the veracity of these coaching institutes.....further query is welcome...keep blogging...

Hello Mr Harsh Thakur, thanks for your visit on the blog and kind words about it....Regarding your query, since your cousin's father belongs to Group-A service [even he is rettd], so I don't think that he will get the benefit of OBC though the income is much below than prescribed limit of Rs 400000/- [Approx]..Still, I will suggest you that you consult some other person in the government as well on this issue or you can check out on some websites.....Regarding your other query, I have published one write up on cut off..kindly read that post.....further query is welcome...keep blogging...I am posting one comment on this issue for your reference

Hello Miss/Mr Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog...Regarding your query about IRS[C&CE], you rightly said that IRS[C&CE] is an uniform service...Officials who are posted for preventive work [e.g. anti-evasion, anti-smuggling etc] are given revolvers, pistols,etc...For your information, Customs department has very modern weaponry in its command which includes even machine guns at few locations...But, for general duty, IRS officer doesn't requires any weapon as such......further query is welcome....keep blogging..

Hi All CS(P) 2010 candidates
This year GS paper was slightly difficult and almost all the optionals in social sciences were tough. So in subjects like History, Public admn, Geography, economics, Pol Sc etc. as I guess there would be unexpected fall in the cut off percentile this year. There are many more vacancies than last year. So even if you are getting 60 in optional and 50 in GS or 66 in optional and 35 in GS or a total of 200 with a min 30 in GS do not lose hope. I see there is enough chances this year for you guys.
best wishes

Hello Miss/Mr Calmness in panic, thanks for your visit on the blog....Regarding your query, since you belongs to OBC category, you can always avail the benefits [6 attempts, 33yrs age] at any stage despite the fact that you have earlier applied twice as a general candidate...Thus there is no cause to be tensed....further query is welcome...good luck...keep blogging...

Hello Miss/Mr Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog....Regarding your query, for IPS, medical fitness is must and there should not be any colour blindness...The height requirement is 165 Cm......Regarding IRS[C&CE] and other services which are non technical, there is no such height, weight requirement...Even colour blindness candidates does not have any problem in IRS or any other services except IPS and IRTS.....still you need to be fit for your own sake....Regarding the attempt, since you didn't appear in CSE-2010 pre, it won't be counted as an attempt...So don't worry, you have saved your attempts.....further query is welcome...keep blogging...

Hello Mr Prasanth Balantrapu, thanks for your visit on the blog and kind words about it...Regarding your query, you have taken right direction....The schedule is perfect....Regarding the current affairs, you are doing right thing....besides, you can purchase Civil service Chronicle monthly magazine of current affairs...so that you can cover all the topics untouched in news papers...you can prepare notes from the important topics...it will be helpful at the time of exam....the ideal time limit for current affairs is from oct2010.....but it is always better to develop the habit of making notes in point form......Yojana is a good magazine....you must keep all the issues and read them in the month of August,2011 only..that time you will be in a position to identify the important topics....Regarding Essay, it is always good to right as many essays as possible..thus your approach is correct for Essay.....further query is welcome....good luck for CSE-2011.....keep blogging...

Reply to Mr Manish
Hello Mr Manish, thanks for your visit on the blog....Regarding Law as an optional in CSE, It is a good optional with huge scoring potential....Zoology is now a days down in terms of scoring...But you can see both the extreme....some gets high marks in law while some got very poor marks in law also..Same is the case with other science optional...Thus, you should not worry about the score..You must check out your interest in the particular optional...if you have deep interest in law as well as in Zoology, you can score very high marks in both the optional...Some Aspirants got very good rank from these optionals e.g. Miss Kinjal Singh [AIR-25, CSE-2007].....all the best....further query is welcome..keep blogging...

Hello Miss/Mr Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog...Regarding your query, Central Services such as IRS[C&CE] or IRS[IT] have all the facilities which are being given to all Group-A officers e.g. Vehicle, dwellings,etc....But it depends on your place of postings..If you are in metro cities you may not get vehicle or proper house...It will take some time to get all this at bigger places depending on the availability...But this is the case with All India Services also e.g. IAS, IPS...They too have to stay sometimes in rented accommodation due to non availability of houses.....Regarding IRTS, they have good accommodation facilities at all the places near by railway stations but don't have much vehicle facilities...Even it is not required in IRTS as they live near to their offices....So don't worry about it...These are sundry things.....further query is welcome...keep blogging..

Hello Miss/Mr Anonymous, thanks for your visit on the blog...congratulations on your getting in to IRS[IT]....regarding your query, the salary during foundation course is Rs-21000/- only...from this ,mess dues and hostel charges will be deducted....this amount is the stipend only....the rest of the amount you will get when you will join NADT i.e. your parent academy [approx Rs 40,000/- only in bulk]....In your academy ,during entire training, you will get full salary i.e Rs-27000/- only with some increments along with DA bonus in between....Thus it depends on your life style..how much you want to spend which will decide whether you require money from parents or your salary will be sufficient...further query is welcome..keep blogging..
